Golden Interdimensional Serpent Reduxby ~GuthrieArtwork

First Post of 2012! I had hoped to get this finished much sooner but alas it took longer than expected.

This is a redesign of one of my creatures which originally looked much more like a regular gold snake with hair however since this is a creature that travels between dimensions I tried to make the design more alien. These creatures are powerful and intelligent beings capable of slipping through the barriers between alternate worlds in order to migrate between dimensions. Their armored bodies protect them as they drift through alien worlds and their multiple eyes allow them to see in various environments. Where eyes are of no use their tentacles help them find their way.

the best feature is the bottom jaw eyes. looking at them is like having a sadistic grinning shark inhale the resolve out of your insides.

This is the coolest serpent I have had the pleasure of staring...gawking at!!!! Its AMAZING!! I'd so want to meet it... as long as it doesn't see me as its next lunch.
